We are one of the fastest growing food chains in the UK. The company, which opened its first store in 1998, has now grown with circa 450 employees and approximately 80 stores/outlets throughout the UK, including our corporate franchises. We are recognised as the UK's market leader in retailing traditional Cornish Pasties and voted one of the UK’s strongest brands by experts and consumers.

History

Once the mainstay of miners and labourers, it is now famous across the world as a symbol of Cornwall. For centuries the Cornish have been filling their pasties with whatever was at hand at the time, and the traditional pasty was born and is still crammed with steak, potato, turnip and onion.

Nobody knows for certain the true origins of the pasty, but it is believed to have been first made by the wives of the Cornish tin miner.
